I am a bouncy, thrill-seeking introvert, with levels of optimism that have been known to get me into a pickle. I love pretending to be other people for a living, on stage and within public spaces in and around East Anglia and my beautiful home city of Norwich.
I am strong believer that life is too short and sometimes you just need to embrace your heart’s desires, jump off a cliff and build your wings on the way down.
I am head mischief maker at Dark Arts³ – pronounced Dark Arts Cubed – for the non mathematical. Long story… actually, no it’s not. My blog claims it is a 2 minute long story. Who knew?
Dark Arts³ is a company I set up to help my creative tribe with their digital marketing and social media endeavours. Partly because I want to help sustain my own creative practice with my other skills, and partly because I’m a bit weird in that I enjoy online marketing shenanigans.
Working in the arts is an enriching and rewarding journey to be on and I feel privileged and lucky to have had the opportunity to share my path with some amazing people. I’ve trained with:
Theatre Royal Norwich
The Royal Shakespeare Company 2016
John Wright Clowning School
Chalk Circle Theatre Company
Access Creative College
Cast role – play training service
Some of the organisations I have worked with:
Berlin’s TheatreFragile and the Norfolk and Norwich Festival
UEA’s MA Scriptwriting Showcase
NUA Student filmmakers
Hack Theatre Scratch It
The Common Lot
The Slow Theatre Company
Sewell Barn Theatre
The Great Hall Theatre Company
The Maddermarket Theatre’s Mad24
Norwich Spooky Parade
If you need an actor/performer for your project or you would like to know more about me, please get in touch. I love my work and I hope that this is apparent in the energy that I bring.
